Ok but let's talk about costuming right now
out of the three, Wei Ying is wearing the most vibrantly purple fabric (and undergarment and waist band). It's small but vivid. Purple is the color of the Jiang Family/Clan. The family motto is "attempt to do the impossible" which is he currently trying to do by restoring Jiang Cheng's golden core. Brilliant 100/10
Madam Yu was harsh but she was right when she said that Wei Wuxian embodied that belief better than anyone.
