Shadow and Bone Spoilers!!!!!

I haven’t read the Shadow and Bone books (I know there’s 2 different series n that, though) so I don’t know much outside the show... and there’s a line in the last episode that’s either a miss wording with the captions, I’ve misheard the dialogue before, or it’s a lil clue to a future plot reveal ... and without too much spoilering, it would be great if someone could confirm or deny it for me 😂😂

So in the last episode of Shadow and Bone, when Mal shoves Kerrigan off the skiff, I’m pretty sure the dialogue before is about whether or not Kerrigan has let the Grisha down yadda yadda, and as Mal shoves him the captions (and I’m pretty sure I heard it too) say ‘Youre the one who let US down’ (or something like that ... is the implication that Mal is Grisha? Or was it just a mistake in captioning? (Because honestly I could see him being Grisha ...
