What if we were two sides of the same coin. What if i lived in your shadow all my life but found comfort in the darkness and dont know what to do once youre gone. What if youre the only person who understands. What if you have have no idea what i went through. What if we went through the same traumas but ended up with oposite conclusions about our suffering. What if i dont recognize you anymore. What if i see the ghost of my former self reflected through your eyes. What if it never had to go this way. What if this was the only way things were ever going to go

genuinely losing my entire mind over whether or not to take a certain class, and like if its causing me this much problems just thinking about it then i could just not take it, but what if i did take it what then because if its causing me so much distress that means its important to me

#KEGHIFWHKBEJNSVLIOHRUGFW3QBDWOHJFEVR8G97EWIUYFBACSJNLK #a spot shouldve never opened up if i was forever on the waitlist then it would be out of my hands and i could get away with not deciding #im surprised a spot did open up like what #now i have to make a choice and i HATE choosing #ok heres the issue. for those of you who are curious #(vague posting on the post and specific posting in the tags so you have to care to see it and its easy to ignore if you dont want to yknow)#the class in question is intro to creative writing #and my relationship with writing is certainly an ongoing issue of mine #but the problem with this class is essentially #i probably should take it because in 20 years i will regret it if i dont and its probably bad for me to avoid my interests out of fear #but if i do bad at all or even when i inevitably get politely worded constructive feedback it will make me so miserable and evil #because i cannot stand the idea of being bad at writing #or even like normal honestly i just want to be a prodigy or genius or whatever #(which is like obviously not practical or achievable but when are emotions ever concerned with rationality)#and what if i made a poll and forced my mutuals to pick for me #id say “what then” but i know what then #you'd all be incredibly supportive and tell me i should do it because youre all very nice to me #and i think more than anything else i know i should but i just want someone validate my fears and give me permission to quit #if someone wants to enable me and tell me to avoid the things im afraid of forever please feel free to #because all my real life friends and family are telling me to take it instead of letting me self sabotage 🙄🙄🙄🙄#anyways that was it for my thoughts and feelings come back next time for another post that should just be a diary entry #personal
