TechCrunch has details on Samsung's Galaxy Gear Smartphone Wristwatch, and predicts it will be on shelves on September 4.  According to Bloomberg's sources,  its is not a watch that syncs with your phone-- rather, it's a phone inside your watch, no other device required.  Pricing could be an issue, but 

CNET anticipates a difficult future for Mozilla's Firefox OS, as it competes with Android for the low-cost smartphone market.  The company reports the majority of sales as coming from first-time smartphone buyers.  While the phones will be carried by Telefonica Brasil later this year, Mozilla has yet to find a US or UK carrier.  The company's next move will be in Japan, working to create a higher-end product.
