Oh, that's tough. Red with Envy holds a special place in my heart because it's AppleMedia, which I enjoy more than RadioStatic or StaticApple on its own. And it's my favorite flavor of RadioStatic, with Vox trying to move on and Alastor getting all jealous. It's also the longest fic I have ever written, and it's still going. There's a reason I'm taking the time to rewrite this fic and make it perfect.
But In Every Lifetime is also really important to me because it's so different from everything else I've written. I don't typically do historical settings, and I have spent so much time just researching life in the 1920s, the way early radios work, etc., to make it's as accurate as possible. I have never spent so much time researching for a fic. Also, I really love the backstory I'm crafting for Alastor and Vox here - since it's an AU, I'm really able to make it my own, which is nice. It's so much fun to explore how they would've interacted together as humans, and the way that shapes their dynamic in Hell.

rzy being a pillow princess in their relationship is really funny to me because she’s incredibly flirty and loves to be provocative and historically has topped at least a decent amount of the time but guangtang are so compelling to her that she’s like you know what i WILL pause my con artist schtick intermittently to get fucked. and honestly can you blame her.
When you eventually picture this better person you want to be, if you don't see a certain person in that picture means it's time to let them go
