Another High Grade Iron-Blooded Orphans kit this week - the HGIBO Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II).
This is another Graze variant. You'd think I might be getting sick of them by now... But you'd be wrong. I really like the basic design of the Graze, and all these variations are just fantastic.
We get a couple more stickers than in a basic Graze kit... There's a few bits of black here and there, some white for the antenna, and the eyes for the head. Really, though, it's not bad. Certainly not as obnoxious as some kits I've built.
The build is about what I'm expecting from a Graze kit at this point. It's basically identical to the others I've built... Different color, different accessories, different shoulders, different head... But it's pretty similar to the others.
I know that probably sounds kind of dismissive - but I really love these Graze kits. It's just such a solid build.
When all is said and done you'll be left with a few extra pieces - which makes this a fantastic kit for custom builds. You get a couple different bits of knee armor to use with the Long-Distance Transport kit. Then there's just some straight-up left-over parts... Some shoulder armor, a butt-skirt, a bit of head, and I think that's something from the backpack on a space/ground Graze Standard?
So you get the Graze with the same backpack you'd see on the Graze Custom, a big axe, and two different guns.
And, again, it's just a fantastic build. I'm really, really liking these Graze kits. This one, specifically, is a lot of fun in that bright pink color.
The posability is a little limited... This is a grunt suit, so it's not built for anything terribly dynamic. And it really ought to be up on a stand. But it absolutely pulls off the poses I'm aiming for.
I guess I'm kind of running out of nice things to say about these Graze kits... Which is sort of a shame, because I've still got several more to build. I'm going to have to ask ChatGPT for better ways to write "it's fantastic!"
