The other evening my friend Taylor and I went out for take out Ethiopian and ate it in the park, over looking the ocean, watching the sun set. It was a beautiful moment, one I will never forget. Life has been filled with those moments of love a lot lately, and I have made it my full intention to soak them all in.
Yesterday was my Yoga Teacher Training graduation. I am officially a certified RYS 200 teacher! I cannot wait to begin teaching and have already made some plans with the women's rowing team (at my university) to perhaps lead them through a 60min class on Sundays this summer, hopefully with that experience I will feel comfortable teaching with my University's yoga club this fall or even some community classes and studios around town! We celebrated with a potluck in the afternoon, where everyone brought fun dishes which really represented their own personalities. I will miss them all, they are such a glorious group of ladies, whom have taught me so much!
Yesterday evening I went to my Aunt and Uncle's for their 'Friday treat night', which I try to go to as often as possible. They make home made pizzas, and the kids get a treat to watch with their movie. Last night we all watched 'The Fantastic Mr. Fox', which I loved! I love most of Wes Anderson's movies, visually they outstanding. My aunt and I are going to go see 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' on Thursday! I love my aunt and uncle so much, the really appreciate my presence and love me dearly. Not only do I feel very grounded and comfortable when around them and at their home, but they are both really cool people who I connect with on a personal level.
