I’ve ordered plenty at AmiAmi and I live in Europe. I started out using Airmail but SAL (registered, for insurence, if you want to track your order and costs you only 400 yen more) works just as well, is just as fast (about 2 weeks), makes no difference for duties (here, in the Netherlands, if you’ve got your stuff shipped with EMS, you pay more for duties) you might need to pay and is slightly cheaper than Airmail. So I would recommend you SAL (registered). You can always change the way you wanna ship at Amiami the moment you pay for your pre-order. (normally for stuff like nendoroids and figmas I pay a bit over 1000 yen for shipping with SAL (registered)) Hope that helped!

About AmiAmi shipping: I suggest EMS if you buy expensive things ($100+) so you get insurance. Registered and unreg airmail are okay but registered (& EMS) usually has a higher chance of getting stuck at the customs office than unreg. SAL options are the slowest and cheapest, but very reliable - I've never lost a SAL packet in the mail. c: We have high taxes (I'm a Finn) so I usually pick unreg SAL to minimize the chance of the package getting stuck in customs (it doesn't always work though).
