âI got lost--just passing through.â
Zey couldnât believe he had been startled to the point of a sharp chest pain by such a small being. Her answer to his question did not convince him. Nevertheless, the child had a rather unassuming and positive energy about her that chipped away at his guarded stance in front of her.
âI see.â
His lips pressed together, and he waved a hand at her. âCarry on, then.â
You canât let in every stray, Arligan.

Sensed the presence of another being and she knew she was not alone. The Padawan sat on her knees, preferring to meditate on the parade grounds, because it was rare that she got to enjoy the sunshine when she spent most of her time on the battlefield.
She looked over her shoulder and smiled. âItâs okay. You can come out.â
âhow is it youâre never scared?â

âI am actually scared quite often,â she replied softly, light eyes looking over the younger twi'lekâs face. It would probably be a bit of a shock to hear that the ever calm, infallible Jedi could feel fear, a step on the path to the dark side.
âAnyone who doesnât feel fear is a fool,â Hirani took the Rutianâs hands in hers, looking at them idly, âBeing afraid is natural, itâs your bodyâs instincts telling you to be careful. I donât let fear control me or my actions, though. Thatâs where the difference lies.â
Maybe it was a little âmysticalâ and vague, but it was the truth. Certain things in her Jedi training escaped her, but understanding her emotions? She could do that.

Captain Harsh spent a surprising amount of time in the barracks waiting around for Commander Kaden to be ready to depart for the next mission. Whether the Jedi was fixing his hair or fraternizing with his Jedi friends, Harsh wasnât sure.
He thought he heard something in the hallway, and, bored as he was, he got up and looked. Was that-- âHey!â he snapped. âStop!â

Xann will eat anything. Mess hall food, while sometimes bland or possessing an...interesting texture, doesnât bother him or slow him down in the slightest.Â
Heâll also accept free food from just about anywhere as long as itâs not known to be poisonous to humans (which isnât necessarily wise; donât accept candy from strangers, jfc xann).Â

Injury Memes
She had the Force and the quick reflexes to avoid falling as Numa ran headfirst into her. Numa did not.
The Jedi paused a moment, blinking at the girl who had so haphazardly run in her direction, now on the ground with scraped palms and bleeding knees, and bent down, offering a hand. The other twiâlek was taller than Hirani, yes, but younger, just looking at her face told her that. The lethanâs lekku twitched, silently calming the girl as she reached into her pack, withdrawing bacta patches for her skinned knees.
âAnd accidents happen,â she offered a smile, serene as Jedi were meant to be, âHere, weâll find a place to sit and I can tend to your wounds, ka? What is your name, numa?â
