It recently struck me that songwriting is my future. I've had some overwhelmingly big industry names comment on my work, i've signed a management deal with a top manager in London and the whole experience has been amazing and so fast - (I started only 4 years ago!) 

Further to that I have huge news to announce very soon, which is mind bogglingly insane from a far-away unknown Songwriter/Singer from Aberdeen, Scotland.

But sure while that's great, that wasn't the time I realised where my life was heading.

I realised when I was in the studio for hours upon hours, without talking to a single person, eating, drinking, no social networks - nothing. My body would be so primarily focussed that even my day-to-day bodily functions were put on hold as if i'd entered another universe for those hours I worked. The strange thing is people who know me, know that in reality I would be suffering if I didn't eat for 5 hours, they know i'd be moaning, complaining I was hungry - but whilst i'm in the studio, there is literally nothing which stops my creativity flowing, and that's how I know...

This hit me only today after I was thinking about how much time I spent in the studio and how a "quick session" was NEVER a quick session.
