Curious about that awesome acoustic intro to the Monster Party playthrough? Well, that's a cover of the Level 1 theme, by Ryan8bit! Here it is in it's fully glory!
Spice up your Saturday with the sweet sounds of Ryan8bit, and his cover of the excellent victory tune from the NES classic, Wizards & Warriors!
Tongue-in-Cheek title aside, here is another great game cover by Ryan8bit, this time a fusion of the Double Dragon first level theme, and Michael Jackson's "Beat It". Cheers!

Here is a video game cover tune by a great artist I discovered years ago, Ryan8bit! This song is called "Can't Escape the Sorrow", a cover of Edward's theme from (in my humble opinion) one of the greatest gaming soundtracks of all time, from my personal favorite RPG of all time, Final Fantasy IV (or as I first knew it, "FFII") on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
Ryan8bit made a an album a few years ago that was a complete rearrangement of NES Bionic Commando. Every track was covered in metal glory. The best one is, of course, area 8, and to me is probably one of the best area 8s ever done.
The reason why it's so great is because it preserves that kind of madcap craziness of the original. It's wacky and quacky, thanks to Ryan's wah pedal mechanics. In the opening bit, the guitar really sounds like it goes "waaah wah wah, wah wah wah wahwah" like you always imagined in your brain. To add to the authenticity, It has those big, booming snare drums of the original in the heavy part. It's even got this choral part going on in the background. Oooh, oooh aah oooh ooh! Once you hear it, you can't unhear it, and you'll be humming along to it too.
I like it more than Power Plant, which is fun but a bit too slow for my taste. It took many years for someone to make an arrangement like this and we were well rewarded.
