Here's a random RR surprise: another obscure and absolutely ridiculous #80s comedy! This is "Dr. Otto and the Riddle of the Gloom Beam", a crazy experimental film of sorts, from the director of the Ernest films, and centered around Jim Varney himself. Cheers!
