So, 111 days until Volume 7! As you may know, I'm the Weiss admin over on the Zwei - RWBY Facebook page. Every year, we have a countdown to the new volume featuring my mediocre art, and now that we have a release date (November 2nd), we're starting. Zwei is first, since the page is dedicated to Zwei. The rest will be digital versions of the sketches I did for this year's and last year's art challenge. I know most of you are looking forward to Volume 7, but I'm pretty apprehensive. While Volume 6 had its high points (mainly lore and beeeeeeeees), I overall didn't care for it (first time that's happened for me), and I'm really hating the new outfits, particularly Weiss'. Given how poorly written and reliant on sheer cringe the Argus scenes were, I'm legitimately concerned they'll stick to the same tropes in Atlas itself. RWBY is my favorite show, and I really don't want to end up hating it. I also hope Volume 7 doesn't end up becoming some hamfisted political commentary, either.
