It's been a while since I've worked on my rw mod "Where Slugpups ?" and I've been thinking about refreshing the old thing (especially since it hasn't received a proper update since watcher was announced)
By itself, the mod still works (if you're not using any mods to spawn extra slugpups for other campaigns) and is still compatible with "pups for everyone" (although that mod has been abandoned and doesn't add pups to watcher)
There is another mod called "pups everywhere" that does the same thing as "pups for everyone" but with watcher compatibility, though this mod is not compatible with mine
I have worked with the modder to try fixing this but unfortunately at the time I was not in a state that allowed me to properly review the code and fix the many bugs this compatibility-attempt caused (thus, the mod was reverted to its base state and currently isn't compatible with "pups everywhere")
Now here's the thing- I can either :
A - take the time to edit a good chunk of my old mod so it works normally with both no mods or "pups for everyone", and "pups everywhere"
B - fork "pups for everyone" so i have my own pup-spawning mod (and making it watcher compatible) that is by default compatible with "where slugpups" (which i then won't have to edit)
Wanted to know what people think is the better option
which one
A - rework where slugpup
B - fork pups for everyone
