Monk: -Goes by He/Him - (AMAB) -He & his brother Runt (OC) is the youngest out of all of his siblings, when this AU takes place, the both of them are around 14 years old. -Monk is obsessed with animals & nature, he hopes to have a pet lizard some day. -He is dating Nightcat, He is open to having kids in the future. -Monk lives with his brothers (Survivor & Runt), the three of them live with their older cousin; Gourmand -If Monk were to have a job in the future; he would want to work with animals. -- Survivor: -Goes by He/Him - (AMAB) -He's about 16 when this AU takes place. -Although he's not dating anyone, he hopes to have a relationship in the future, & is open to having kids in the future. -- Hunter: -Goes by She/They - (AFAB) -She's in her mid 20's when this AU takes place. -She is twins with Rusty (OC), although she doesn't like talking about Rusty that much after an incident that happened in their mid teen years. -She is married to Artificer. Periwinkle (OC) & Misty (OC) are her step-daughters (they are biological to Artificer & an ex-partner of Artificer), Firecracker (OC) & Cherrybomb (OC) are both biological children to Artificer & Hunter. -Hunter doesn't have a job, although her hobbies include hunting feral animals & going on hikes & spending time in nature with her younger brother; Monk. -Hunter is good friends Spearmaster, they've been best friends since childhood. -Hunter's mentor is No Significant Harassment. -Hunter gets nightmares from time to time involving getting the rotting disease/the rot, dying from the infection, & becoming Hunter Long-Legs. This started after a close call after catching the rotting disease as a teenager. She got very sick but thankfully recovered after a long series of treatments. Her health gets monitored more often then the other slugcats, as treatments for the rotting disease are still in an experimental phase, but the success rates of survival are higher then they used to be upon being treated. -- Other Notes: Iterators have been converted to anthro slugcats as well. I headcanon that the rot is a parasite, but instead of the parasite dying with the host it infected; when the host dies, the parasite mutates & takes over the host entirely becoming a long-legs.
