Love to be filled with a sudden burst of artistic inspiration and then be like "how the fuck does composition?? How the fuck do I draw objects?? Aoughgh???"
Let's see if I can get this done this evening I guess???

Yaoi day made me decide to go back to my notes and sketch out more Arsadia. Hilariously, I am at a point which is "figuring out the politics and social climate of Heaven" and thus there is actually very little yaoi to be seen.
I need to inflict Garth Marenghi's Darkplace on more friends. "Inflict" truly is the correct word here. I need more people to take psychic damage from this show.
I gotta get back on writing. I keep falling in and out of it. I need to take my freaks from my brain and put them in front of people.
I need to finish that LARP rewrite so more people can act as my sillies who make bad life choices!! (Or just read their backstory fic and go "wow what's wrong with these guys?!")
I need to write my ten billion story ideas!!
Put words!! On the page!!
Truly why do I let myself get bothered and annoyed by things. It leaves me tired and weary and seething. I have beloved friends playing a train game in my house. I've played fun games lately. Why do I let people being frustrating on the internet get to me?

Sometimes I reblog a post and then some time later I go "hmm actually no I DON'T think I agree with that" and delete.
You know what, actually, I DON'T think that coming out as trans actually necessarily resolves all of the issues a person has with identity and their place in the world. I think that at a certain point one simply has to understand that some people are going to have ridiculous headcanons based on nothing, and other times people are going to have headcanons based on personal identification with a character. And it's really weird of people to get all uppity about how they have Better Media Literacy than people who are fully just Playing Touys or whatever. I've seen some headcanons I think are fucking ludicrous and actively counter to the source material (such as headcanoning any character who has a theme of familial expectations of getting heterosexually married and having children as trans to the gender we see them as) but fucking whatever.
I just think for some people, transitioning doesn't actually fix their issues. It's an important act of self-determination for a lot of us obviously but like. I think you can have an arc about being a void of a person stuck in place and uncertain of your being and also be doing HRT before that starts.
Whoagh...... LimboLane games good!!! (Spent the past two evenings playing Smile for Me and Great God Grove and they are, in fact, fuckin great.)
Really big fan of the mixed medium approaches, the really bold and expressive character designs, the strong presence of horror elements mixed with "cosier" aesthetics and gameplay loops!
Genuinely deeply funny having my adventures in musicals go "PBS 1991 recording of Into The Woods, a beloved musical considered one of the best being performed by a beloved and accomplished cast" to "2001 David Hasselhoff production of Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical, a musical that is not especially good and whose cast are anywhere from serviceable to hysterical".
It really is proving the maxim that the worst thing something can be is boring, because I sure did enjoy J&H despite it being a musical that, I think, best exists as a studio recording so people can put like three of the songs on RP character playlists for Vibes™ and forget the rest exist. And for watching David Hasselhoff singing his absolute heart out and being just Not Very Good at it.
...god, "Murder, Murder!" is an actual song that was performed on an actual stage by actual people.
