the first 13 eps were released normally as 20-something minute episodes

but then the next 12 episodes were split into 24 eps that were half the length of normal ones

and then the last ep was a normal 20-something minute long episode

and then for the dvd they combined those 24 short episodes into 12 long episodes

gaiaonline always seemed like the reddit of the 2000s to me idk

but when dudes are stoic with occasional streaks of ruthlessness it’s “aloof” and “wow what a babe”-enducing. nice double standard isn’t it.

And here's my thing - with so much of the criticism regarding Mikasa, I roll my eyes because god forbid we have a female character who is strong, not sexualized, and has flaws!

But then so much of the criticism for her makes me think, "You just described Levi, I hope you have an issue with him as well."
