Before this semester began I went to an advising officer to talk about my graduation status. She looked at my current credits and the classes I registered for and told me I was eligible to graduate THIS semester. 

 Today I find out the music course I’ve been stressed about ALL.FUCKING.SEMESTER doesn’t count toward my minor therefore, I’m NOT graduating until May.

Apparently even though it’s summer and no one really has a reason to be at Rutgers, other than summer classes, you still have to pay to park. You still have to venture to the transportation building and physically buy a permit for $30 so that you can park in an almost empty parking lot near your classroom. Somehow I missed the memo for this and received a nice little citation for $75 for parking without a permit Even worse is that my bank account is in the negative because Tidal decided to charge me $10 for a subscription I don’t even have anymore. I don’t get how that works because I cancelled Tidal more than a month ago, so why did they wait a month before charging me? So far the overdraft fee hasn’t come up yet so I just need to put money in the bank and bring it back to the positives. In other news, I have no idea what the purpose of this book is. I was going to keep it around for notes purposes but the hard red cover and the slight yellowness of the pages makes it feel too important for that. So far, with two entries, it’s turning out to be some sort of diary/journal even though I’m not into that sort of thing. I would like to be able to look at this book in the future and be able to recall my experiences today. I guess that is what a diary is for then…so be it.

Going to class when the university decides not to shovel much. And then slipping in the doorway because there’s a large puddle and your shoes have no traction.
