Consistency over intensity.
I mostly keep it positive on this page but I’m feeling defeated. I tried to run today and it didn’t go well. I can think of a million reasons why: worked all day on my feet, ran 5km yesterday, didn’t drink enough water, tried not wearing my glasses (felt unstable/ sort of dizzy), emotionally strained from a work situation, didn’t sleep well last night.. etc. I’m still disappointed though. I would start to jog and had to walk really frequently. My legs physically wouldn’t go. I stopped pushing myself about half way through and still managed to get about a 40 min workout in, but it wasn’t the run I wanted.
In the end I closed all my rings on my fitness app and hit my goals for the day so I guess that’s what really matters?
