I'm posting this a little sooner because I just love this boi with all my heart. I'm having so much fun writing his character, and exploring all his trauma. Hinting at backstory left and right. Can't wait for yall to get to the scar~
Does anyone else carry things from before the outbreak with them even though they might be useless now? If so why do you keep them with you? Me, I still carry two things with me. I keep my car keys clipped to my belt loop and tucked into my back pocket. The only useful thing on it is the mini pocket knife that's about as dull as a butter knife. The other thing is an anklet I made back in middle school. I've been wearing it off and on for the last 5 years and just can't find a reason to take it off. I guess I carry them with me as a reminder of life before the outbreak, and maybe because I still hold onto the hope that things can go back to normal. Even though I know they can't.

Hey I’ve run into a little problem that I need some advice on. My running shoes seem to be on there last leg (no pun intended). Any ideas on what I should do? I’ve been on the look out for a pair while out on my runs but being a size 5 1/2 in men’s makes it pretty hard to find anything I’m not swimming in, or isn’t pink *shudder*. So yeah, I’d be willing to trade a few of my Harry Potter books if anyone finds a pair that could fit me. >.< cuz its kind of hard to be a runner without running shoes.
Hey ya'll!
So I figured that it's about time I introduce myself to everyone out there. I'm Matt Sheldon, short, 18, red hair, and a runner here at Abel Township. I haven't been a runner for that long, only a few weeks, but already I've come to consider Abel as a sort of home. I haven't made any good friends here besides Sam yet, but I'm hoping that that will change with time. I'm far from the fastest runner here, in fact I'm actually rather slow due to my asthma. But I try not to let that stop me from doing my best out there.
Before the outbreak I had just graduated from high school and was unemployed, living with my parents, and not really doing anything productive with my life. I know it might be harsh to say, but honestly the outbreak and everything that has happened since has given me the motivation to do something other then sit on the computer all day (not that I could do that anyways, >.< Rofflenets to slow.
Now that I'm at Abel though my main focus is finding out what's become of my friends and family, in particular my friends Jan and Rick and my little brother Lanning. If anyone has heard from them please let me know, I would be the happiest man in the world to know that they are safe and sound.
So that's it about me I guess. Don't be afraid to ask questions or even just chat with me. I promise I don't bite, much xD.
The worse part of having to do the university run has to be the dorm hallways. You can never know if the room your about to search for supplies has a zom’ in it. But at least they don’t send me out here at night. That would just suck.
