2 years. My house went 2 full years avoiding covid. And then, first week of 2022, both kids got it. So no school this week, and probably no school next week. Which means I am losing my mind.
“Mommy, you need to take a rest because you’re acting tired. Here’s soft puppy for you to cuddle.”
I guess I’m proud of their compassion?
But I absolutely need to have something to take care of me. So yesterday I ran.
My workout was run uphill, walk downhill. Then walk to cool down. Hence the funky map :)
This morning, I broke out the resistance bands and did some strength training. With a great sea of assistance :)
But I feel really good! Still overwhelmed, still exhausted and powerless. But physically those endorphins are awesome.
