Runetale Fangame Update 1
I've got a working laptop and Gamemaker installed. Still not super confident on my coding skills though, so I'm working on most of the custom/updated assets first. Here's some early progress on the Ruins!
Deltarune has a similar art style to Undertale, just more detailed and expressive. So I'm kinda just replacing the more underwhelming Undertale assets with recoloured Deltarune ones. Also some custom ones.

how will your undertale deltarune crossover grow and change from the releases of the new chapters
The fangame will definitely be updated and changed if parts of it contradict new Chapters.
I will try and preserve as much of the original plot as possible, but I cannot make any promises. In a worst-case scenario, I'll have to overhaul or completely delete new cutscenes if they suddenly make zero sense. Either way, expect small changes to dialogue and cutscenes with every update.
We know that Chapter 5 of Deltarune will be coming out sometime in 2026 (unless it is delayed) so I will be waiting for that drop before I finalise and release any demos of the fangame.
The first demo will hopefully be released sometime next year, and will most likely include the Ruins and Snowdin. Waterfall will have a lot of new areas and content, so I may not be able to fit it into the first demo.
All demos and versions of the fangame will be free. It's purely a passion project, and legally, I cannot charge money for it.

Hey quick update on Runetale: I'm trying to make some custom songs and remixes and whatnot for the game.
Keyword "trying". I've never made music before and I kinda just winging it. The custom tracks used in the first few demos might be kind of ass.
If I really can't get the hang of it, then I'll start asking for volunteers on the music if the first demo gets enough hype.
