I just checked my 10k April stats... I have run it ten times, so that is nice :D
I also have gotten from running it in 01h.09min.34sec at the third day of April to running it in 1h and 19sec yesterday.
Running is such a locomotive type of a hobby. Because you just set your goal time and figure out how many times you can run in a week. And then you just follow your schedule like a mindless zombie.
At the end of the month, your running time has improved. No magic needed.
Happy trails, snug laces and best of luck. Â :)

I LOVE this sport! I'm brimming with joy and amazement as I scroll through social media and see so many smiling faces and their Boston Marathon medals! Congrats to everyone who finished today! What a FREAKING accomplishment!

6 Mile Run Today
Beautiful run in the Sand Run Parkway. 3 miles down and back. Its a trail that declines for about 1.5 mies to a stream bed, then inclines out of the stream bed for another 1.5 miles. Then turn around and come back. A "warm" day today at 35°F. A slushy run on a nice wide trail. Passed a few runner. Lots of walkers and a few dogs. Wonderful run of 6 miles in57:05. Only one problem: I felt a little winded. I might be overly-sensitive, but I worry that is the cancer in my lungs. At last scan, 3 big spots and a dozen or so little ones. The big spots are 1cm in size for two, and 2 inches for the biggest. I fucking hate cancer.
I always felt insecure having a coach or trainer look on when I had bad days in the past (I spent much of my life as a competitive swimmer), but with this app I never feel that way. I get the benefit of someone telling me what to do, and when, without the potential judgment. It’s like having a coach in my head, a motivation that comes from within—which is the kind of thing I never felt I was able to do on my own.
