I mean, I still think peacocks are pretty, but they are menaces!!! I did not feel sorry for them, when they panicked so much at my dog, that they repeatedly flew into the fence.

They ate my mom's flowers, that took the longest to grow! They gobbled up most of them within SECONDS!

They sit on your roof and crow at 3am every day. I got used to it, but our visiting relatives sure didn't. I think I heard that after a decade or so of this, our neighbor who owned the peacocks removed their vocal cords? I don't know how true that was, but I heard the peacocks a lot less.

And they leave such big 💩

BTW, this was in my childhood. The peacocks' owner died, and his peacocks disappeared from our neighborhood years ago. But it sure was a big chunk of my lifetime with peacocks.
