8. What do they look for in a platonic or romantic partner? 

tbh, Runa probably...doesn’t. Her only experiences in making friends are Gerren, and then the crew who were less “make friends” and more “we will adopt you because clearly you need hugs, so even if you don’t want it, too bad, you’re with us now.” I think...in order for her to trust people they must a) feed her, b) be kind to other people--not her, but other people around her, c) prove they care about her or at the very least her ship and crew by not putting them in danger. (This is probs why she has such problems with Lis--Lis’ very presence on the ship puts them in danger from her backstory. Runa doesn’t know particulars, but I mean, Lis gives off vibes of “my backstory is danger, u should worry”, esp to Runa, who knows the feel.)

12. They get arrested, and thrown in jail, how do they escape? 

I’m not positive, but I bet there’s stabbing involved. Or at the very least some punching and knocking unconscious.

13. Would they leave their party for any reason? 

Heh, well, she did sort of abandon y’all at the bottom of that cliff that one time. More seriously, though, yes: if she thought that y’all were endangering the crew or the ship beyond what she could counteract or stop or help you get out of, she would leave.

16. Do they have any tattoos? If so what? If not, do you think they would get one in the future?

1) What is their full name, and does it have any special relevance? Alternatively, what nicknames do they have? 

Runa Vay of Tribe Jakosa. It has special relevance in that it’s…not her real name. She doesn’t remember her real name. Trauma’ll do that to you.

Sigurbodra Nalan of the Fifth Fleet. If you call her by her full name, she will end you with a divine smite of lighting. She’s just Sig to anyone who wants to continue not being electrocuted.

6) If you could behove them one magical item, what would you give them?

Runa actually has her magical item! She has her tribe’s heirloom sword. It’s v important and I cry a lot because of it.

I kind of hope Sig gets some sort of magical shield at some point. She’s a pretty aggressive cleric in a fight, despite the fact that she’s the healer, so even though she’s already got a really high armor class, anything that will make her invincible so that she doesn’t get hit and die before she can heal her friends would be super cool. From a non-metagaming standpoint, there would be a lot of character development in giving her a shield, a lot of…strengthening of faith and purpose, I think.

19) What genre of music would they be into? 

17. Where would they like to be in ten years time?

Oh wow, hmm. Sig is easy: Sig wants to be captaining her own ship. As a halfling Viking cleric (I know right!?), she’s currently one her Year of Living Dangerously before she rejoins her family’s fleet. Ten years from now? yeah, she wants her own ship, to be a real part of the fleet in her own right, not just under her family’s command.

Runa tho... I think, in ten years, Runa wants to be where she is now, honestly. She’s on the Sun’s Heart, traveling, she has people she cares about and people who care about her, and enough food. As much as she’d probably prefer to be firmly on the ground instead of on an airship, I can’t see her giving this up anytime soon, if ever. There’s too much on the ship that matters to her, and too much on the ground she’s probably going to be running from the rest of her life.

15. How have you influenced your characters personality?

I made Runa purposely to be the strong-and-silent type so that I wouldn’t have to do a lot of ad-libing while RPing. My previous RP experiences were text-based, which is a lot easier for me, becuase typing gives you time to figure out what you want to say. Soaring Sails was my first foray into voice-chat RP, and I was very nervous that my improv skills would not be up to scratch, so when I created Runa, I definitely factored into her character that she stops and thinks before speaking, that she’d rather leave decisions and talking to the more diplomatic members of her party, and that, if given the option between improv and punching, she’d always go for punching.

Sig is more like me, tbh. She’ll keep talking if you let her, once she gets to know you, and even if she starts off shy, she’s got a big heart that’ll wear that away quickly.
