So, it has been a year since I picked up a pencil and actually sat down to finish a decent bit of art. I missed it so much!

The first piece is titled ‘Fight!’, and is a snippet of The Unlikely Trio and the Journey to the Center of Threa. Saku, Reffinest, and Meraxa will actually get an ending written to their story one day.  I don’t know who they’re fighting but you know the others aren’t going to come out of it so well.

Just so everyone knows and CAN APPRECIATE how hard I worked on having Corra's hair texturized only for it to kind if disappear in the background of that last one.

I WENT THROUGH SO MANY DIFFERENT STYLES- I SHALL PREVIEW THEM HERE. But this was the final product, done with the braids brush pack by Vegalia which you can purchase here. As well as the Chalk Brush and Noise Eraser on Clip Studio Paint!

I really wanted to experiment with more hair textures and Afro hair is fun to color in general so this was the perfect exercise!

this is kind of like a test run for a dress i'm planning for Corra, wearing it to a specific festival that shall not be named now until a further time.

This is the first draft of it, of sorts.

Her hair is up in a looped updo, while wearing a dress made of fabric called "moon silver" which is expensive and primarily made in saiyan culture.

She's rockin this dress with hindu inspired jewlery, headdress, and a north african inspired dress.

Went for a different style for Atún and Corra- with slightly different hairstyles.

I found a ref on Pinterest or a gorgeous gal with curly hair and I wanted to try it on an olde Corra. Kinda want to experiment with a new look and practice a new style, somewhat? Moreso with doing the faces different and more varied, which could possibly help me branch out from the usual DB style.

Though as much as Kida tries to keep the existence of Rota for several reasons- she knows she cannot quite keep him hidden from his father, after all- Turles’ intentions aren’t always clear and that is enough for the poor mother to try her darnedest to keep her baby boy safe.

Unfortunately for her, somehow, Turles has caught wind of a child being under her care, of a certain age and carrying certain features that has him… curious.

All this time, he’s been thinking of what kind of legacy he could leave behind and lo and behold-
