the dark, floppy ears perched on the demigods head were almost as comical as the badly drawn spots on his face  (  black nose  &  one large spot over his eye to match  )  &  the obnoxiously large red collar round his throat  (  little dogbone charm bringing back melancholy memories of mrs. o’leary back home  ).  while halloween was not necessarily his favorite of holidays it would be stupid to not make a grab for the free candy trick or treating tends to entail  —  hand loosely grasping the others wrist, a lopsided grin as percy motions towards the next door down.   ❝   wait, what is your opinion on reeses  ?  sweetarts  ?  I can’t believe you are out getting candy you don’t plan on eating.   ❞
