Rugged guy was the culmination of a lot of things I was thinking about at that time in my life. ย It's a very personal story to me and reflected a lot about my thoughts on maturity, the artistic process, relationships, and whether or not I still had it in me to write and make films. ย The film holds a special place in my heart because it's the start of a lot of great collaborations in Albuquerque, behind and in front of the camera. ย Rugged Guy is from filmmaker Jason Asenap.
