Don’t tell combat but role play is my favourite child and ho boy did we have a role play session!!

- Elise looks for Glint in the morning. Glint isn’t there. Chaos ensues as Elise freaks-out-but-pretending-she-isn’t looks everywhere Elise deems a good hiding place for him. Waits (and cries) for him under his blankets, Dante finds her, drags her out and gets her ready for morning tea

- Rugga has agreed to come to tea! But then he backtracks and Elise manages a Dex check in heels to climb out his balcony and grab him. He agrees to go on the condition that he isn’t the subject of Theodore’s attention

- We attend tea! Glint is there, Elise is ;~~~~;, the subject turns to angels for some reason. Dante excuses himself. Elise and Glint learn what angels are from Rugga’s biblical explanation. Elise expresses a desire to meet Alexis, a supposed Ass-imarr when they next go to Neverwinter

- The gang discusses Keo’s funeral rites. They eventually agree to a beachside pyre (?). Elise collects flowers for it whilst this is discussed

- Dante and Elise fail investigation to find firewood but Rugga scores a goblin sized cauldron for the ceremony. Elise helps Shimmer lift Keo in before decorating him with flowers. Margaret Flaming Sphere’s Keo to cremate him.

- The gang minus Elise wade into the ocean and disperse his ashes as requested. It’s a touching moment for a probably meant to be temporary/shitpost NPC

- Dante and Glint head off to do some shopping. Shimmer runs an errand so Elise and Rugga are left to carry the cauldron home.

- Elise and Rugga.. rare pair but spicy pair. Rugga criticises Elise which turns into a 2 hour argument about how Rugga is too cynical and Elise too naive. Dante (and Glint) have to break it up later.

- meanwhile, Dante and Glint collect them cut down diamonds. Glint tells Dante of his impending departure and how he actually ended up here. Dante is charged with taking care of Elise in Glint’s absence, and told about some of her less than helpful coping mechanisms.

- WIFE WIFE WIFE - me whenever Quiwynn appears

- Shimmer meets up with Quiwynn and her gf whose name escapes me. He returns a ring. Turns out he was meant to return a brother. Oops.

- RUGGA BATHED!! I’m so proud omg

- Glint announces his departure to the group. Elise is ;____; the entire time. He gifts a tarot deck to Elise (and the group) that can cast Telepathic Bond once per day. He implores her to not only use to speak to him but also to help the group. “We’ve solved our (Elise being noisy) problem” - Rugga

Glint called Elise his princess, Elise was like duhh, I was like !!!!, Dante was like HUH?! The theme of “are you dating or not” continues into this campaign (they’re not)

Glint reminds everyone that he’s very cool, has a past life as a circus bouncer and that his very cool swords were a parting gift from his tribe

Dante and Elise decide to accompany Keo and Shimmer’s boogeying to open an gate. They both pull out lyres, Chopsticks is the only song they have in common.

Elise continues to Not Learn From Her Actions and walks through every gate we find without hesitation.

Rugga walks through a gate, sees not much but there’s a badger in the room. Pops back in, without thinking says “not much but I think Elise would like it” Elise IMMEDIATELY sprints into said room, forcing our poor DM to look up what level it is and where it goes. Cue Rugga/Rugga’s player saying sorry :c

DANTE TOOK A GLOVE OFF!!! Only Glint saw that sexy naked hand.

Elise got enveloped and (I forgot) she had an escape route. Shimmer used a scroll of Gaseous Form to turn her into a “fart”. Cue panicked Elise, unable to speak but like vibing as a cloud for a solid couple of rounds.

Dante being whisked away until Dante’s player reminds Shimmer that Elise, although not a cleric, can also heal and would be v useful as a not cloud. Form is dropped, Elise sprints over and is able to heal him for like a measly 11 points

Elise thinks Wildfire Spirit = the embers of Rugga’s love for Mara. Who is sheeeee

Elise defends Shimmer’s magic and Dante’s cartography skills. No comment on Rugga’s reading ability 👀

Everyone except Elise was accused of taking Rugga’s money and I just think that’s the funniest shit. Because she is dexterous and could probably (with a high enough roll) Sleight of Hand someone. (It was lost due to a gate curse)

Elise used Mirror Image! It was kind of effective! Until she used Faerie Fire on herself and some sneaky Air Elementals

Dm: haha this room is one of my faves. Elise goes in and it’s like got all these frescos of this guy and his family and then descendants. In the middle of the room is a marble or stone cradle. Elise puts a flower crown on the baby in said cradle. Dante: detect magic, oh shit the baby is magic, Elise come back!! Elise comes and picks up the baby WHICH TURNS INTO A CRYSTAL CROWN?!??! Wears said crown and Dante, in a moment of growth, let’s her do so and says she looks great uwu

Rugga tried to convince us that Dante was more attractive than Elise. ELISE ROLLED JUST HIGH ENOUGH ON INSIGHT TO KNOW ITS BS!!!! (Although her narcissism would prevent her from believing otherwise)

Dante is now the sugar daddy of the Danga relationship, trading 200 gold for a 1000g diamond

Rugga finally learnt where Keo comes from, it definitely ends up sounding like Shimmer birthed him

Shimmer and Elise fail investigation checks and are convinced there’s a trap in a corridor for a solid 20 minutes.

Dante used Starlight Field (?) and it was v pretty, too bad Elise was occupied.

The gang discuss cults, Elise has that PTSD stare for a solid while before the convo returns to her and she goes “hahaha cults bad, I spaced out” 😖😖😖

Elise continues to insist that she can read, despite thinking the letter D is a B.
