Resisting the Devil  We hear of the adversary in Zec_3:1. The enemy of Christ desires to hurt the Shepherd by injuring His flock. The hunger of a lion for his prey is an emblem of the insatiable desire of our spiritual foes for our undoing. Walks about...temptation never assails us long from the same quarter. Perhaps the figure of a roaring lion suggests an outburst of persecution, which made timid people tremble. See 2Tim_4:17.  All grace is in God for every hour and need, 1Pet_5:10. We too are called to His eternal glory through Christ. The path of suffering, and that path alone, leads to the world where suffering is unknown. The suffering is only for a little while. Perfect, that nothing be lacking; stablish, that we may not waver; strengthen, that we may stand and withstand. Silvanus is Silas, 1Pet_5:12. He was a man to be trusted. Peter’s theme was grace. So he began, so he finishes; and from the church in the literal Babylon, or in Rome, Rev_14:8, where he and Mark were living and working, he sends this message of grace, and love and peace.  We are in the world but not of this world. We must unite like never before to overcome the darkness that is coming against us in this hour. Many are being overcome by fear but those who know God and have put their complete trust in Him...can rest and be at peace knowing that all things are working together for our good and He is leading us victoriously in the direction of our destiny. Things might look like a hot mess at the moment, but God can use the messiness to bring forth healing & holiness...all for His glory. Amen. We were created with purpose and implanted with unique gifts tailored to aid us in accomplishing our specific mission here on earth. Imagine how different your life would be if you made the decision to breakup with your fears and live life to the fullest. I believe breaking up with my fears was the best decision I ever made. Fear plagued most of my life and confined me in a realm of unbelief. I had no clue who I was, what I wanted, or all that I was capable of doing. The main ingredient that was missing in my life-equation was LOVE. Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Living a life cultivated and driven by love is essence of everything beautiful, pure, and true. Love is a game changer! Love from above empowers one to believe all things are possible, dream BIGGER than ever before, and enables us to accomplish more in less time with better results. It is possible to enjoy every second of the journey regardless of the circumstances and outcomes. God is a believer’s light and strength by whom and in whom he lives. We should therefore let our heart be fixed in Him and our mind stayed upon Him, awaiting His deliverance in all circumstances. I encourage you to think about the things make you fearful. Breakup with all of your fears and begin doing things afraid until you completely overcome the feelings and forces opposing love. Fear only seeks to disable us from achieving the greatness we were created for. Let go of every doubt hindering you from becoming the real you. You will be amazed by all that you’ve always been capable of doing and being! Psalm 91 offers us precious promises that we have the privilege of claiming daily for ourselves and our loved ones. The psalm speaks about the preservation of those whose confidence is in God. Those who live a life of communion with God are constantly safe under His protecting wing and may preserve a holy security of mind at all times. He will be our rest and refuge forever! God is sooooo good! TRUST Him and His perfect plans for your life. All things are possible…ONLY BELIEVE! #RubySozo
