skylar will sometimes fall asleep in ruby’s dorm because after watching movies and consuming a lil bit of alcohol it’s a lot easier to share the bed than it is to find her way back to her dorm.

skylar was so excited to have another friend and before everything went south(ridge) she was fully prepared to spend holidays with ruby and invite her to hang out with quinn & ethan. APPARENTLY braiding of the hair and sharing a bottle of wine means NOTHING to SOME PEOPLE

if the other is every feeling sad they’ll resort to their tradition of getting tipsy and braiding each other’s hair and maybe take a nap or go for a swim in the pool. give it an hour or so and they can usually cheer the other person up.

they hardly fight, but they’ve had one pretty nasty one where skylar accidentally triggered her powers. it was nothing super serious and the teachers didn’t need to get involved, but thank god ruby is immortal.

when ruby first came to the academy, skylar visited her dorm practically every day. she wanted to make the place feel like home as quickly as possible, and she would meet there every morning for a week to see if ruby needed help getting to any classes.

skylar was SO HAPPY to make a new friend when she met ruby. it wasn’t like high maintenance or anything and it made her more confident that people genuinely liked her, and that there were people who didn’t know about her past before pinecrest. SKYLAR THOUGHT RUBY WAS VERY COOL & LIKED HAVING HER AROUND
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
after french braids got a little old they stepped it up a notch. waterfall braids, fishtail plaits, etc. and ruby & skylar didn’t really intend for it to happen but now they’re like ridiculously good at braiding and hair-styling. if it weren’t for the whole super-powers/being at pinecrest/training to be heroes they could definitely start up a youtube channel doing tutorials
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon
they’re very picky about their alcohol of choice. sometimes they’ll settle for beer or wine coolers or whatever but they prefer the pricey stuff. as the years have gone by they’ve become more accustomed to nicer stuff and even when they’re at pinecrest parties and stuff they’ll probably bring a bottle of something v. nice to share

one time they got drunk and somehow learned the entire hoedown throwdown from the hannah montana movie and retained that knowledge. skylar, being a god-awful dancer, uses that as her go-to move now.
