Checking the wiki is a fun way to remind myself that Ruby has "squat nimbleness" which a. does mean she is faster and hard to pin down which is fun (that right there is a rogue who is good at movement and escape) and also b. there is a prerequisite for this of being a small creature, which maybe they just decided it was ok but also just the idea of Ruby being short is very fun.
She is tiny, bro. The amount of people like this dude is so dangerous we have to be prepared is immense and she is a head shorter then the shorter members of the group before she starts slouching. Only person she's taller then is Swifty and she uses that to immense advantage. (he has attempted to stab her but she is again pretty nimble) She perches on any member of the group she likes that has a positive strength score (She is a wondrous item, the person she perches on can't unwillingly go prone) (The first time she does it on Saccharina was after getting back from The Swirling Sisters where, by force of habit, the moment Saccharina was alone Ruby just landed on her shoulder and nearly got hit point blank with lightning because "why did you do that!")
Saccharina is also definitely tall (really statuesque) so they are, in a literal sense, pains in each others necks by their urge to look for/at each other.
