Summer Tanager 2022 by Dan Ripplinger Via Flickr: Two shots. I was happily surprised to see this Summer Tanager in the back yard. A first for me. As beautiful as this bird is, I wish they would come more often. The photos are cluttered by the feeders but the bird is so colorful and unusual (for me) that I had to post them. He only stayed for 30 seconds so I was lucky to get a shot at all. Sorry for the feeder shots but that's all I have. Thanks so much for visiting.
