4. Are they superstitious?
Lyrha grew up around pirates and sailors. She is extremely superstitious, which means X'rhun has two apprentices who are scared of ghosts. Sorry X'rhun.
Lyrha, at least, is brave enough to fight them, even if she's not going to be happy about it. She also has all kinds of other quirks and habits, such as... crushing eggshells to prevent witches from using them against her. One assumes that was a Garlean superstition she took up.
18. What emotion is their greatest motivator?
In the beginning? Fear. Lyrha made most of her choices based on the perceived necessity of them for her own survival, even or especially at the expense of others.
Later, it's love. (Shhh there's a theme there for my ocs) Travelling with X'rhun and Arya, she finds reasons to care about people, and learns that good deeds can be reciprocated, in the right company. She falls in love with X'rhun himself, the first time she's ever gotten close enough to someone to recognize the emotion. Terrifying for her, but another moment where she realized that who she was, and who she wanted to be were no longer the same thing.
