2013 was the first Record Store Day I'd attended, and I actually had a lot of fun. I got there about an hour after the store opened, and it was busy without being aggressively awful. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it (which is more than I can say for 2014's event, but that's for a later post).
I was incredibly lucky to find a copy of this, since my local record store had *one* copy! It was the reason I went out to Record Store Day in the first place, so I was happy to give them £22 for this. It's a nice quality pressing on 2xLP, but I was slightly disappointed that for some reason I had convinced myself it was on colour vinyl, and it turned out it was a standard black vinyl release. Still, it's a hell of an album, and the vinyl pressing is no joke.

excuse me, i have a question of "HVN258 TOY/The Horrors (Record Store Day Release)", i saw someone sold this vinyls on ebay and discogs, but the version they sold is a white sleeve with no any painted on the cover, it just white sleeve with a black sticker on the cover, i think it is a promo vinyls. i want to know if it is a promo vinyls, are they be count one of Limited 500 copies?
i ask that question, because i just bought this vinyl on discogs, but i got the package, i find out it have no any paint on the sleeve! i am not so happy about it, someone put promo vinyls like the officially released to sold it to me, i feel be cheated. because i think promo vinyls is not be count one of the Limited 500 copies! am i right?
