What is the character afraid of? what isn’t he afraid of lol. he’s afraid of letting people down, feeling unwanted, conflict and arrogance. he’s also afraid of letting his true self be seen, but at the same time, craves to show it to the world.
How do they deal with bad memories? try to push them under happy ones. even if they’re artificial lies and memories that he’s made up. he’s aware it’s delusional and definitely more than unorthodox, but he believes it helps him get on with the day. ignorance is bliss and all. but it doesn’t work, as much as he tries, and that’s why he has poor critical thinking and decision making — you can’t just ignore your problems!
What is this character’s role in a horror movie? the comedic relief that either dies really fast or survives suspiciously long. or in another case, the non-suspecting sweet guy who’s secretly the murderer themselves.
How do they hide their secrets? I truly believe he doesn’t hide his secrets. if you ask him, he’d be honest. but seldomly people do, and would rather think there’s not much depth at all there. and if it’s a sensitive topic, and not necessarily a secret, it’s humor, but you already knew that lol.
Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most? gluttony would be a simple answer but he’s more interested in making food than consuming it. so I’m going to go with greed. but more than just material things, it’s the emotional too. this guy idealizes and romanticizes so much in life. he wants everything to match these unreal expectations despite knowing that not how life works, and gets disappointed so often, but he can’t help it, because it makes life exciting in the first place. out of life, he always will want more.
