so i’ve had several ideas of possible rpgs tossing around in my head the past few months and all are about halfway finished, but i just can’t decide which i’m most into and want to bring to fruition. if you wouldn’t mind voting in my poll below then i’ll do some blog rates as a thank you and bc i love you all so much and the rpc could use a bit more positivity ♡

Northpoint, Maine is a footnote of a town - it appears on few maps, and those that it does appear on, it is in a small script. Few tourists stumble upon this tiny hamlet, and there are even fewer year-round residents. It can feel like a town at the edge of the world: nothing but the Atlantic stretching to the east, mountains and forests to the west. But despite its quiet, idyllic appearances, Northpoint holds a great deal more adventures than what meets the eye. This little town has a long and twisted history, tangled like ivy with myth and lore, with criminals and heroes; and far from being forgotten, this history is still felt today, surfacing in family relationships, town gossip, and those secrets that can unlock the town - with the right password, anyone can find themselves holding the world in their hands.

Despite the calm shores, each and every one of Northpoint’s inhabitants is capable of brewing up a storm within themselves - and storms, once started, are not easily stopped. Friends will be lost and found, love will fade away and begin again, tears will be shed and laughs shared, and all chaos will be let loose - and peace will be found. No one knows how long the inhabitants of Northpoint can keep their skeletons buried in their closets and their storm winds at bay, but what is certain is that there will be no one whom the undercurrent does not catch in its grasp.

Northpoint is a semi-plotless (we provide the location - you provide the drama!), OC-based, small town and university site! We have been around for over a year, with an incredible group of friendly and active members who are always happy to form new plots and connections both in and out of character. Come and take a look - there is always something new to discover in Northpoint, and endless adventures to be had!

Kingsley Shacklebolt was elected as the Acting Minister for Magic. He has proved his commanding stature, leading everyone from out of post-war destruction, through a complete, social reform. Kingsley’s personal values and beliefs for equality and fairness have become his own, radical agenda. The Ministry has taken action, shutting down corrupt businesses, and weeding out the out-dated notion of blood supremacy and prejudices of social class. The majority Death Eaters attempted to flee; many were captured and put on trial for their heinous crimes against the wizarding community. With the support of the Ministry, Hogwarts has been reopened as the beloved school is has been known as for centuries, with a few important differences. 

The latest development, a raised bar of the standard requirements for Ministry careers in the offices and several positions. New graduates must work harder to meet the qualities of employment in the Ministry, including achieving higher results on their NEWTs. Everyone in Harry Potter’s year has been strongly recommended to return to finish their education as 8th years. But they aren’t the only ones making their return. Now, as the new term starts in the beginning of October, things are slowly on their way to feel normal again. Headmistress McGonagall believes it’s her duty to be supportive of these unusual, new curriculums between 8th years and Already-graduated students. It’s a post-war Shacklebolt-society and all the students are in the same boat of this new experience and fresh start. Every student at Hogwarts knows that they walk on ashes every day. No one can forget the war that was fought on these hallowed grounds. No one has completely healed. Some will never heal.
