Say hello and welcome to Akenland!  A medieval RPG-inspired minecraft server with emphasis on lore-building and teamwork.  Found at akenland.com!  (Sorry, no link because Tumblr is dumb about those)

The server has been running and evolving for six years already, with custom plugins created by the owner!  From interact-able NPCs with quests in progress, to warpstones that let you visit and revisit places no matter how far away they are!  You don’t even need to download mods for it, though Optifine and a specific texture pack are recommended.  The links for those are on the website and in server.  More screenshots and info is below the cut!

It's finally time for pawns, bishops, and knights to show they can have what it takes to corner kings and queens. With a social experiment installed in the hidden mountains of Russia, where Royals from around the world would be gathered, it's time for the rebellion to wipe the sour taste of their last operation from their mouths, and come up with new plans to achieve their goal. They couldn't afford careless actions anymore. Not after how spectacularly they had failed. Now it was all about taking their sweet time. Faking their polite smiles, and threading themselves into Royal life as seamlessly as possible. Monarchy should never know what hit them, or where it had come from. So they hid behind every corner, ready to absorb all the information they possibly could. War of Royals is a revamped royalty rp that takes place after WWIII. Royals have been sent to a hidden palace in Russia for both safety and to unknowingly participate in a social experiment, all in the name of peace.
