Ive read a million comments on how this is AI, or an Unreal Engine Render, or it's Modded Skyrim, or it's a Modded Shadow of War, etc. etc. etc.

All I can say is ive been playing *alot* of Starfield lately and theres something about the movement, camera, and lighting+textures that make me think that ***whatever this is*** its running on a new(ish) version of Bethesda's Creation Engine 2.

This seems to be using some pre-existing assets, namely the smoke in the loading screen, the TES Blades music, the Skyrim(?) crosshair. In game development it is very normal to use placeholder assets (typically pulled from previously released games). Any placeholders are replaced with new assets when the game is at or near completion.

I wont do a wishy washy "idkkk guys it might be real or fake??" If you were to put a gun to my head id say this is real. Yes im perfectly willing to be called out as wrong but I'd need to be shown pretty clear evidence to change my mind.

That spinning icon in the bottom right of the loading screen is funnily the most interesting part to me. Look at it closely, theres clearly alot of detail to it that this grainy ass video doesnt capture (or is hiding if you belive this is fake)

A couple things I noticed so I crammed them for visual reference.

If you follow the river to the sea you encounter a village called Roseguard, which was first introduced in Arena.

(Riverwood was also introduced in Arena)

From Roseguard facing the sea, you have a choice to go left or right.

Taneth is to your right and Rihad is to your left.

Satakal is a core god of traditional Redguard/Yokudan religion and is depicted as an "ouroboros" serpent swallowing its own tail.

Interestingly, about two years ago Todd Howard said TES VI had entered a playable state.

TES Arena Also confirms that Roseguard exists approximately where the river ends as it meets the sea.

Eg. Lake Illinalta in Skyrim (near Helgen) is the source of the White River, which runs past Riverwood, Whiterun, and all the way to Windhelm by the sea.

We are living in a time of unprecedented amounts of original paleoart being produced. All over the world, throughout all social strata and in all sorts of styles. This boom in artistic output was not made possible by the development of art stealing technology and large corporations forcing it upon us but by networking, knowledge sharing and community building. That is what made paleontology more accessible and made it possible for so many people to be inspired by the fossil record to express themselves artistically.

welcome to my self-indulgent post where I will blab about The Creatures

You know who I am by now. I cannot resist the hoggie, those sweet little eyes, the upturned nose, the inquisitive nature. This is a plains hognose but every hognose out there is an A+ animal. And honestly don't get me started on colubrids, they are all so fuckin cute I want to kiss every one ;~;

Listen to me. You can't sleep on skinks. They're all so cute and varied, and have fun personalities. I can't possibly cover them all in one post but just. Look at them. Little dragon creatures!! Tell me what's not to adore. I dare you.

Sand boas are sweet little noodles and just adorable. This one's a rough-scaled sand boa, my personal fave. But you gotta look up the other species, they have the funniest little faces!! These creatures are just innocent sand dwellers and so deserve more love than they get!

Idc what the haters say, I love the boa faces even more than I love python faces. They look so cute, everything about them is just delightful. Did you know they have pelvic spurs that are essentially vestigial leggies? Adorable.

SPEAKING OF PYTHONS. Here are some babies! A ball and a berm! I mean, look into those eyes. Just innocence in there. Too precious for this world. I need to cuddle one on the couch with a blanket and watch a movie with them. Self-care done proper.

Do NOT get me going on geckos. ALL of them are precious beans and I wouldn't know where to start describing them all, but here is a leachie. I love all of the New Caledonian geckos to a heart-wrenching degree, but shoutout to the leachie for those giant peets and wrinkles. I have yet to hold one and I will stalk the next gecko vendor I see until I can touch one of these babes. Too fuckin cute, like a chilly, wrinkly, furless teddy bear.
