With the planting season ended and harvests on early crops beginning, We are intending to have all taxation on harvest be redistributed throughout the kingdom at a more regular rate. Many of Our craftspeople and artisans struggled through the recent winter, leading to a need to be sure of the stability of those who don't have direct access to harvest.
Though that does not mean heightening taxes for those within Our fields. The current structure has worked well, and Our coffers are full enough to purchase from Our neighboring kingdoms if the need arises.
We also intend to allow sorcerers, witches and spell workers to begin applying for positions within the castle proper. Local magic workers are often physicians, and with magical ailments becoming more recognized We find need for direct interaction with the crown on planning how to handle our more supernatural interactions.
Aside from that- this is exactly what Our open court is for. We are asking you, my people, what else We may need to consider.
