Tired of felling like shit
Talking about starwar now
I've been replaying Jedi: Fallen Order and honestly it's been a really gratifying experience.
I absolutely adore the game and it's mechanics. I like the way it paces out your abilities, and the way you can just fluidly mix the combat styles.
I had initially tried to start my replay with Jedi Survivor (Also a really good game). But it felt like I was missing key bits of info. It had been so long I forgot some of the smaller events that happened in Fallen Order.
Like Saw Gurrera! Cal is working for Saw at the beginning of Survivor. And I couldn't for the life of me remember who he was! I only ended up getting just off Coruscant before going to Fallen Order.
There's also something I just adore about the simplicity of Fallen Order. Only really focusing on the fundamentals, really letting you feel like you're learning to wield the force! By the time Cal is knighted by Cere, it feels like we've earned it.
I've always equated Elden Ring to the closest we've gotten to a playable anime.
The Jedi series is as close as we've ever gotten to playing an actual Star wars movie.
The Heros are charming, the Villains are endearing, and the surprise at the end never fails to leave me breathless. I'm desperately hoping there is a third game that really brings everything together.
Also, Cal and Mirin are quite possibly my favorite straight couple in fiction.
Although that comes down to them being independent characters who complement and make each other better rather than being dependent on each other to be characters but whatever
The best part is at higher difficulties the game actively rewards you for thinking like a Jedi in combat.
