so my parents surprised me with a copy of your book. they had no idea that i follow you on tumblr, and were slightly worried i had already bought it. luckily, i was waiting to have the funds to do so! just wanted to share a story of surprise happiness. i spent christmas night reading excerpts to entertain family.

It was fun and very informative. It was a small class held for our local group so only 6 of us. (She’ll also be teaching the class at Phoenix Phyre in March.) Years ago Ann was my first witchcraft teacher though over time, my practice has changed. The deck is wonderful though the symbolism perhaps somewhat Wiccan Witchy. But I think the cards may work better for me than some other decks I have.

oooh resources on her? i’ve only done minimal searching and i’m not hellenic polytheist, but i have an enduring fascination with her. it’s super hard to find any kind of statuary/physical representation of her that’s not really awful.
Agreed! A lot of what you find is either quite misinformed or mixed up with the Roman version of the myth (the latter in which you will likely see the most of.) Elani has written a rather good entry about her over on her blog too, if you'd like to check it out. Perhaps once I pick through enough things I can make a nice little resource list for others who are interested in learning more about her?
