ofc it seems obvious that jasper and harry are modeled after me and narry. but theres actually a story to that!

back when i first joined the fandom, i saw blackkatdraws' this side of paradise animation and i really liked the idea of the narrator and stanley free from the game looking at the grandness of nature. not only did i make fanart of it, the idea stuck with me so much i wanted to put it into an AU with my narrator and I

after i made this, i thought "hey, i like road trips. i like TSP n narry. what if i took him on a road trip?"

"you idiot how would you convince him? he hates open world games."

"well he hates the fact you could get lost. what if there was a promise of an adventure hidden in the woods and a campsite as limiting his 'game map' to better help him?"

"that might work, but what kind of adventure?"

"i dunno... maybe theres something weird in the forest like. a hidden town?"

and then i kept poking at it n revising, and ended up with route 23 and jasper and harry

hell. harry was gonna look way more like my narrator but i ended up changing a decent amount bc he became his own ages ago (hes now an offbrand harry bright from mamma mia 😭😭😭😭)

anyways, all this is to say its been a long journey since what this whole thing started as to now. ty blackkatdraws for unknowingly inspiring this entire series and inspiring me to go to art school to persue it. thank you tsp n tsp fandom. and thank you time for helping me keep these boys for this long
