t’s time again for one of my favorite types of rides: The Urban Ramble. The Rough Stuff Ramble is a ride evoking the spirit of the Rough Stuff Fellowship, a UK based cycling society dedicated to getting off the beaten path. There’s plenty of “pockets of country” that can be found without leaving the city limits! We’ll be meeting up at 10 AM at Fillmore Coffee, 7201 NE Glisan St. We’ll have time to get coffee and food, then depart after 10:30 AM. Expect a 30 mi moderately paced exploration (no one left behind), with a mixture of paved/unpaved, a butte or two, and a lot of places you probably haven’t been to. You may also have to push a bike at some point. Route not a loop and will remain a mystery, but we’ll end up somewhere near transit and where we can get food/drinks at the end. Wider tires never hurt!
