Like normally when you’re getting a flashback show like that, it’s to quickly show you What’s Wrong. If a character is, say, neglecting another friend, we’ll see like three clips of them walking away, not even sparing them a glance, maybe a lukewarm wave.
And, to Lincoln, these ARE problems. But really? It only comes across that way to him.
Watching the clips we’re given, it’s not anything Wrong, it’s not even a problem, really. it’s just Lincoln havin’ fun with his sisters. Doing his Lincoln thing.
It’s nice to see it as something positive without it being, like, a goodbye montage, or something.
