[A photo is attached of the group sitting in a cuddle pile around Zelda on the floor of the trainer's lodge in Sandgem Town's Pokemon Center. Most of the Pokemon are outside of their Pokeballs to contribute. Zelda herself has her face buried in her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs.]
[A blank recording is attached. It seems it was extracted from a video that was too glitchy to show anything. The audio sounds almost exactly like an old janky radio would, but it’s clear enough to be able to hear the two Pokemon. The two gods. Translations pop up on the black screen, provided helpfully by Rotom.
[“You came with company,”] Dialga rumbles.
[“It was not my intent,”] Celebi murmurs. [“I come to ask you—”]
They cut her off with a low growl. [“Have you allied with these humans?”]
Celebi goes quiet. Says, after a few quivering trills, [“They are Fallers.”]
[“So you know even less of their background.”] Dialga sighs. [“Child, I worry for you sometimes.”]
[“I— Thank you? I didn’t think you—”] Celebi stammers, and Dialga interrupts her with another rumble.
[“You are too kind for your own good. Is your duty not to show yourself only in times of peace?”]
Celebi falls silent again.
[“You sense it, too. Not only has it been mere months since that foolish human attempted to rein my power as well as my Sibling’s, there is yet another great danger looming over us. Galactic,”] Dialga spits. [“What a far cry from the goodness of its ancestor.”]
[“My— My power is weakened,”] Celebi says feebly. [“I cannot traverse through the ripples of time, nor can I return to my sanctuary.”]
[“And your instinct is to endanger yourself by traveling with these humans instead of seeking solitude to recover yourself?”]
[“Look, I came to you for a favor. I want you to completely halt the flow of time in the land of Hyrule.”]
It seems that Dialga was momentarily stunned into silence.
[“If— If it is within your capabilities.”]
[“Of course it is. But that place is not my world to meddle with. It is not even of this universe.”]
[“Please.”] Celebi’s trill sounds… desperate. [“It will be thrown into peril without those four humans within it, and the humans are terrified of that.”]
[“You want me to do this for the humans?”]
More silence. Then a deep, windy sigh.
[“Do not look at me with those eyes. Your soft heart will get you killed one day, child.”]
[“You will do it?”]
[“Against my better judgment, yes. You like to provide relaxed and humorous company when you are not nervously asking for a favor, so… I shall give something in return.”]
Celebi, despite herself, gives a nervous giggle. [“Thank you, Dialga.”]
[“Never show me another human’s face again.”]
The static suddenly escalates before the recording cuts off.]
[A video is attached of Celebi, fluttering alone through the vast realm of Time.
She gradually nears the four unconscious humans, and as she does, glitchy ripples dance across the footage. [“Dialga?”] she calls, though it sounds a little like a song.
A deep rumble, ancient and terrible, practically shakes the camera, and Celebi stills without a flinch. Rotom turns to focus on the humans for a moment. Curiously, Zelda’s secret stone hangs in front of her face and is attached by a glowing chain around her neck, although Rotom swears she keeps it in her pocket.
More tremors run across the screen, and the audio begins to crackle and distort. At this point, it seems that if one tries to look at the runtime of the video, it shows nothing but glitchy static.
[“Dialga,”] Celebi says again. In response, a sort of shadowy fog falls over the area, and through the fog emerges a colossal claw and a pair of crimson red eyes.
The video cuts out.]
[A video is attached. Link is leaning against the back of a tree on the outskirts of Jubilife, looking down at his phone, before letting out a sigh and tucking it away.
"Hey, Link?" Mipha calls softly. When he turns to look at her, she gives a small smile. "I've... been itching for a spar for a while, if I'll be honest."
Link immediately lights up, and Zelda and Urbosa also perk up with interest. With a smile of his own, Link unsheathes the Master Sword from his back, while Mipha stands from her spot and takes her trident in her hands.
"Good to let out some anxiety, probably. Who are you rooting for?" Urbosa asks, and Zelda blinks.
"Uh-- I... don't know? Can I do both?"
The woman smirks. "Personally, I'll be rooting for Link."
Zelda bites her lip, and some color creeps up her ears. "Suppose that means I'll be cheering for Mipha, then."
Link, evidently overhearing, gasps and puts a hand to their chest dramatically, but they are just barely suppressing laughter.
"I'm sorry, Link! Mother called dibs."
Urbosa raises an eyebrow but does not comment further on that. "You'd better win, child," she calls. "I'm betting rupees on you."
"Wait--"
"I jest!" Urbosa laughs at the incredulous expression on Link's face and Mipha's crossed arms.
"Ah, on with it, then," Mipha says and points her trident towards Link. "Well? Come at me!"
With a wordless grin, he lunges and their blades clash. Mipha goes on the defensive, dodging gracefully and twirling her trident as though it were a baton. Link is just as graceful, if in a more sharp and swift way. The speed of his slashes is downright frightening when he perfectly dodges Mipha's jabs, but the Zora takes the impact and leaps away, skidding the blades of the trident and swinging from the handle like an acrobat. Yet still Link keeps on the pressure, going after Mipha and clashing once more.
This spar goes on for a little longer, until Link pulls off a particularly complex maneuver and disarms Mipha. Urbosa cheers! Zelda is audibly stuck between cheering and lamenting.
"Wow," Mipha says, breathless, as she goes to pick up her trident. "Your strength is astounding as ever."
Link has a dumb grin on their face. "Still got it," they say, albeit very quietly, and with some difficulty through their heavier breaths.
"You're facing me next," Urbosa says in a serious tone. Link frantically shakes his head no, to which she laughs. "Eventually."
Zelda gives a nervous glance to Urbosa. "...I don't actually owe you rupees, do I?"
"Heavens, no!"
Rotom chitters with laughter as it ends the video.]

[A video is attached. Rotom is focusing on a quarrel between Koshia and Fi, but distant footsteps and sniffling can be heard offscreen, and the camera whips around to show Zelda walking briskly with her head a little hung and rubbing furiously at her eyes and nose.
“Zelda?” Mipha rushes to her side. “What is it? What happened?”
Link and Urbosa also come to Zelda, who stops in her tracks. “Little bird?”
“Mother.” Zelda’s voice breaks. “I miss Mother because I’m thinking about her too much and I want to grieve her but I hate this but I—” Her words dissolve into heaving sobs as she falls to her knees with her face buried in her frantic hands. The rest of them kneel on the grass with her, and Celebi nuzzles against Zelda’s neck.
“I’m sorry,” Urbosa whispers. “I shouldn’t have said what I said before without thinking of you first. I miss her, too.”
Zelda lets herself slump into the subsequent group hug with a cry of pain.]
[A short video is attached. Urbosa is in the middle of demonstrating her powers of electricity to Blupee just on the outskirts of Jubilife, when a magnetic signal gets audibly interrupted and a zap of lightning shoots back up Urbosa’s arm.
“Motherfucker!”
Zelda, nearby, raises an eyebrow. “That you?”
Urbosa chokes. Link bursts into uncontrollable wheezes and Mipha does the same as she slaps a hand over her mouth. Blupee, who happens to be an adult Pachirisu, is rolling on the ground cackling.
“I mean…” Urbosa crosses her arms with a devious expression when she’s somewhat composed herself. “I could tell you about—”
“Heavens no, that is revolting!” Zelda shrieks, and Urbosa lets out her signature booming laugh while Link and Mipha are both clutching their sides on the ground now. “No. No. These are not the kinds of memories I need of her.”
Rotom is trying and failing so hard not to laugh as it ends the video.]
[A video is attached, showing Zelda’s group and Jingyi’s group relaxing in an open place by the route beside Eterna City and chatting lightly. Naboris lets Meihua play with her legs as she loafs beside the trainers, while all the other Pokemon sniff at each other curiously in an attempt to get to know each other.
“There’s all sorts of things I want to discuss with you three!” Zelda says enthusiastically to Meng Yao. “I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the way that magic from your world works, and just what everything is like there—?”
Before Zelda launches into a fully-fledged ramble, Meng Yao interrupts, smiling awkwardly, “I’m sorry, I’m probably not the best person to ask.… My cultivation is extremely poor.”
Jingyi, who had been talking with Link, hears and cuts in, “Oh come on, don’t put yourself down like that. Maybe you weren’t amazing at any one thing, but you know techniques from almost every major clan!”
They don’t have any reply to that, so they turn back to Zelda again.
