opal: talk about your interests and passions
well i think everyone here knows im a HUGE voltron legendary defender fan. i started watching it around when it first came out (july 28, 2016) and my life changed immediately. that was a really dark time of my life and i didn’t really have a lot going for me. i was ready to end it all and pretty much felt like i had nothing linking me to this world so i was lucky to have found this show. for a long time my only reason to live was that fact that voltron existed. it was my one happiness. my one thing that made me feel like, hey maybe everything isnt awful. its one of the main reasons why voltron is so important to me. it literally saved my life so im going to be a fan of it forever. im so fucking passionate about it my dude. sorry this was dark LOL.
im also really passionate about lance LOL this is less dark i promise. honestly i just really relate to lance on a human to human level you feel me? i think its the same way for a lot of people but i just love lance. he is everything i wish i could be. i love his confidence, and charisma. i love how funny he is and also down to earth. i love that he is a wiseass and i love that he cares about his friends. i love how brave he is and how great of a leader he is even if he isnt regarded as one. he is great and also incredibly important to me. im his number one fan! (other lance stans dont interact lMKDSKVNKDF. jk, mostly)
im also really passionate about bnha?? i dont really talk about that much because i dont participate in that fandom even close to as much as i participate in the voltron fandom but its also something i really really love. ive watched all of the anime and i just started the manga because i cant wait for season 3 to know more. ive gotta know now LOL. my favorite character from that show is probably bakugou and i know i know to anyone who is a fan of the show “bakugou is an asshole!” yeah !! he is!! he is the actual Worst but i cant help but love him somehow. but anyway this show is something i get to talk about with friends a lot and im always super passionate about my shared interests with friends because yanno. friendship is magic LMAO.
also im like WAY interested in baking! a few people know this because they saw the cupcakes i made for Lances birthday either on my snapchat or the post i made on here but i love love love baking. i probably bake something once a week and love trying new recipes! ive been baking for years ever since i was little before i even started school. my grandma used to babysit me while my parents worked and she would let me help her bake pies or usually cobblers with her or cookies. those are some of my most cherished memories and part of the reason why i have loved baking for a long time! nowadays i usually bake or look for new recipes when im feeling stressed because its just really calming to me. there is something so good about having a plan for something, seeing it through, creating something with your own two hands, and being able to share it with other. i love it ! and people love me for supplying them with endless sweets LOL.

what’s the most heartwarming thing you’ve ever seen?hdksjdhd thanks dudeso I like special fx makeup and my mom likes to post some of the things i do on her facebookand it was getting comments like “wow she’s really amazing for being self taught!!”, “she should go into this for a living she’s really good”, and “she’s amazing for such a young age! can she do my halloween costume?”so that made me feel amazing because I actually want to be a special fx artist so hearing that people think i can make it into the industry is honestly one of the best feelings in the worldthanks for the ask!!!

OH my god, that’s amazing! While almost all the SNK people I know have migrated to Voltron for some degreeI don’t know much people that migrated from SNK to Star Wars! And specifically Kylux, so that’s pretty cool that we have that in common!
