#rosewind

Hey look at our goddess oc Rosewind, Goddess of Roses, Madness, and Music, and especially all those things combined. Patron goddess of thrill-seekers and people who get lost in the art of creation (in the context of music).

Technically called a goddess, but is referred to by her followers with she/they/it/muse* pronouns, and sometimes others. Followers usually talk to the wind or nearby roses in order to speak to her. People would call on her to ask for a fulfilling experience, and to have it end with them sound of mind, no matter how mad they go during the experience itself.

Music form as seen above is the glowing pink outline of an androgynous human, though upon closer inspection, most of the body isn't very defined past the outline. It size-shifts constantly, though it tends to stick to a height that puts it slightly above/level with whoever it is speaking to in the moment.

They have a massive mane of hair, that waves and curls around, looking tangled, though it isn't actually.

Rosewind stopped in front of a Twoleg nest. It looked abandoned, and when she leaped onto the fence, the nest was dark.

On the outside of the Twoleg nest, a dark red and brown cat lay in the weak leaf-bare sun.

"That must be him." Rosewind thought. The cat that had saved the lives of her and her clanmates. She hopped off the fence, landing heavily in the overgrown grass.

At the sound of her landing, the cat blinked awake, and rose to his paws. His fur was dark red, with brown patches scattered across his pelt, with a scar across his left eye. Dark, horn-like markings adorned his brow.

His good eye was a bright blue, and steely as he regarded the she-cat standing in front of him.

"Are you the loner called Red?" Rosewind asked, and the tomcat nodded, giving her a wary glance.

"I am." His good eye narrowed slightly. "Who's asking?" Rosewind trotted forward a bit, and stopped.

Dewstorm - A determined and courageous tom. Dewstorm has a strong sense of justice and will always try and make sure he does the right thing, and he will always stand up for what he believes in no matter how many cats are against him. He realises that his opinions might not be popular but he speaks his mind anyway, he doesn’t care about himself, only those he is seeking to defend, 14/10

Rosewind- A skilful and intelligent she-cat. Rosewind has always been talented, it was even apparent during kit-hood, she is a fast learner and she can apply what she knows flawlessly, but she doesn’t float about it, if anything she gets embarrassed when cats compliment her. She has a knack for seeing and remembering small details, which she will remember later and incorporate them in whatever she is doing, 15/10

ksjdfdfjhg aaaaaa when I said I’d love to see more of your art, I never expected it to be so soon!! It doesn’t look bad at all--it’s absolutely gorgeous!! So much so that I might add it to my list of reference art for Wind & Rose on their character pages! 

I absolutely love the way your drew their hair and their expressions and their...well, everything!! You captured their personalities so well--down to their handwriting! That’s actually pretty much exactly what their handwriting looks like, believe it or not. 

Red gave his chest fur a lick, hiding his embarrassment.

"I know how deadly greencough can be," He mewed quietly, his blue eye shining with an unknown emotion. "I wouldn't want any cat to suffer from it." The long-legged tom sat, tail curling around his paws.

Rosewind sat down as well, and the two cats regarded one another in silence. After several long moments, Rosewind rose to her paws. She could only sit in the quiet of the overgrown garden for so long.

"What're you doing?" The tomcat asked, and Rosewind glanced back at him.

"Hunting."

Red watched her, following her gaze as the she-cat stared at a bird that was hopping around a few tail-lengths away, pecking at the grass.

She dropped into a crouch, moving slowly towards the unaware bird. Pawstep by pawstep, she stalked the bird, and leaped.

She trotted back to where Red sat, carrying the thrush in her mouth, silver eyes shining proudly.

Rosewind sat the thrush down at Red's paws.

She turned, but before she could go and hunt for herself, the dark red and brown tom-cat's quiet mew stopped her.

"Rosewind." She turned to look at Red. He gestured to the thrush with a paw. "Come and share this with me." The she-cat blinked, and a small spread across her face.

At camp, it wasn't unusual for her to share prey with her clanmates. It was an offer of friendship between cats.
