grading papers seemed to be the least of his problems as Leo stood over his laptop. One might think he was working on some PowerPoint presentation for one of his science classes but in reality he was stuck on deciding his next score. as he looked around, he saw the place looking cramped than usual and someone standing. figured he shouldn't be selfish by having a whole table to himself, he slipped his backpack off the chair and waved to catch their attention. "if you're trying to find a spot to sit, the chair in front of me is empty if you don't mind sitting with a boring fool like me."

Thursdays were always busy, for however long any current employee could remember, Thursdays were always packed with the karaoke crowds and it usually made it harder for Jia to even hear herself think let alone a non-scream singing customer. "Oh I'm sorry but you're gonna have to repeat that!" Jia beams as she sets a coaster in front of the patron. " I promise not everyone is so enthusiastic while on stage."

button nose scrunches as sharp eyes look them up and down ; not hiding the disgust so easily readable from her features. " you really had nothing else in your wardrobe? " a rhetorical question she doesn't expect, nor want, an answer for. a saccharine fake smile pulls at the corner of her glossy lips. " cheap clothes aren't the issue, just - " a nonchalant shrug. " i guess good taste is hard to acquire. " and to add sweetness, to spin her words, banu continues: " not that you look bad, but there's just a lot of potential you aren't taking advantage of. "

Dallas knew he did not look like someone who enjoyed a good book and it always surprised him whenever a person made a comment about it. hearing it always made him laugh and wondered if he did look out of place as he made his way through the aisles trying to find the next series he was going to lose himself in. as he stopped to see which caught his eye, he sensed someone nearby. "take a picture, it'll last longer." he quipped before grabbing a book, "i don't know if i should be flattered for the stare or if you think i am all muscle and don't know how to read."

Victoria's eyes rolled as a former colleague continued to complain on the phone to her about a contract that she had filed before leaving the Boston firm. "Where did you get your accreditations? A fucking cereal box?" Pushing her glasses to the crown of her head she turned to the figure approaching her. "Just send it to me I'll figure it out but you owe me." Hanging up Tori sighed. "Sorry that was just a shit show...anything I can do for you or?" At the small table at the park across from town hall she pushed the opposite chair out with her foot, inviting the other to sit.
