   This... this was too good to be true. She doesn’t look like Pink Diamond like this, but Spinel was created to follow Pink - she’d know that voice, that Gem anywhere, any time.

   From the dark, dingy city that Miyuki lived in, the bright, vibrant skies of Beach City, it was easy to tell why these ‘Gems’ had settled here.

After a hell of a lot of saving up, Miyuki had managed to afford a vacation, and so far it had been totally worth it - this place was incredible, and nobody ever randomly yelled at anyone else for being an alien, because these Gems were all so open about it!

That Dib kid would lose his mind here.

But out of everything so incredible here, the most incredible was one Rose Quartz - Miyuki had gotten to talking to the locals, learning about them and why they were here, and the name that had come up so many times was Rose. A former leader of a planet destroying species who rebelled against her fellow leaders after realizing their ways were wrong.

Eerily familiar.

“Must’ve taken a lot of courage, to stand up to your people like that.” She starts, having finally found the Gem in question. “I never could have done it. Never did. Never got the chance.”

{ Honestly, I thought that for our RP and just “Hahaha, I’m sad. Because Rose is genuinely sorry and would love to right her wrongs. Have fun with Spinel again now that she’s not caught up in the Diamonds’ and her own BS. But also MAN Spinel has the right to be McPissed about what Pink did.” So wE’RE ALL IN PAIN, HERE. }

Orange Spinel just felt a bit foolish at letting that slip out, knowing her goal was to always stay positive!

But it was true, she gave a lot of hugs, but when was the last time someone wanted to and hugged her first?

It was a different experience altogether, and the gem being physically affectionate made it harder to let it ease by without wanting it.

She felt safe in front of Rose Quartz however, and seeing the taller gem lean down...

Yes, height was never a problem for dear Orange, but the gesture Rose had given to her, it meant more than anything...

A lower of one’s self to another’s level, letting your guard down enough for an embrace that could mean so much more...

Her pupils shook softly.

“M-Miss, Rose Quartz...”

She tried her darnest not to start crying, only finding a solution in diving forward to hug around Rose with a soft squeaky toy noise emitting from her rubbery form.

She was stiff for only a second at the initial shock of a welcomed hug, slowly relaxing to close her eyes and lean into the hug.

  “I’m Christopher, though friends simply call me Chip. It’s a pleasure to make your aquaintence, Miss Quartz. I apologize if I’m bothering you or if I’m tresspassing, but I believe that my pets ran off in this direction and I’ve come looking for them.”

{ It’s likely going to be a mixed reaction, all around. There’s bound to be some gems who would follow their Diamonds anywhere and grow into their new CG roles…but on the flip side, there’s BOUND to be gems who will feel betrayed and shocked that their glorious leaders would side with the Crystal Gems!! So it’s going to likely be another divide between gems who will give Earth a chance and those who run to White Diamond, instead. }

“Rose.. Quartz..” the small Beryl growled threateningly as she was faced with the leader of the Crystal Gems.  Her voice like ice as the name seeped from her lips.  “Give me one good reason as to why I shouldn’t alert my personal guards to your presence.”

It had only been by pure luck that Owl had gotten his saber out in time and been able to deflect the blow of what looked like an oncoming warrior woman with a glistening gem on her body. Yells of “fusion” and “traitor!” rang through the air as more enraged amazonian women closed in around him. There were others too who were fighting against them, but every time one of them was struck, their body vanished in a cloud of mist, leaving only a gem behind.

“Ohh dear, what have I gotten myself into?!” Owl asked aloud and yelped as an orange ax blade narrowly missed the tip of his nose. 

Then, for a split second, the fellow felt a presence he could only reach in his deepest meditations. The consciousness of Lunas, his bond partner, reached out and he could almost feel them guiding his hands as he opened a circular portal in front of him and leapt into it. The fellow tumbled forward, his glasses knocked eschew, and quickly closed the portal behind him closed before the furious combatants could follow.

Panting slightly, the fellow straightened up and turned to go when he saw a large pink figure before him. It was a woman with large, pink curls draped across her shoulders and down her back, a large pink shield and sword, and a glistening pink gem on her belly.

‘Oh dear,’ Owl thought and swallowed. Was she going to attack him like the others? Or would he be able to negotiate his way out?
